Between the 1970’s and 1984 Captain Barry commanded T-509 as a research vessel in the great lakes.
I’m glad to see the Dambach in good hands. I operated the Dambach on the Great Lakes from 1970 to 1984 as a research vessel and delivered it to the new owners at the Maine Martitime Academy.
